&lt;br/&gt;Project Director will provide leadership to the project management team, which comprises the project managers, procurement, project control, contracts management, construction and commissioning, quality assurance/quality control and health/safety and environment teams to ensure successful completion of the project within the parameters of time, budgets and quality. Needs a strong knowledge on business development and economics and the ability to manage the strategic aspects of large and complex projects and to mitigate any risks.

&lt;br/&gt;ESSENTIAL SKILLS
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Skills required through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering.
&lt;br/&gt;Previous extensive oil &amp; gas industry experience.
&lt;br/&gt;Extensive experience managing large and complex EPC projects with value in excess of $1 billion / Multi-centre execution projects.

&lt;br/&gt;Experience and qualifications

&lt;br/&gt;Minimum of 5-10 (Engineer grade to Senior/Lead grade) years experience in the Oil and Gas Sector, Petro-chemical Industry or associated Marine Operations (FPSOs or Tanker) arenas, including the provision of certification, classification, design appraisal/review, or verification services for project execution and/or operations/maintenance contracts.
&lt;br/&gt;Have working knowledge of design and/or in-service asset integrity assurance/verification process of Safety Critical Element codes, standards and work processes, have understanding of SCE Performance Standards and preferably experience of authoring and/or updating and working knowledge of relevant legislation associated with international companies and legislative regimes.
&lt;br/&gt; 
&lt;br/&gt;Engineering degree or demonstrated competence and experience for 5 year longer than defined above, preferably qualified to IEng with the Engineering Council.
