My client is looking for an Engineer - Waste Water Network Designer. The Engineer is required to have 3 years post graduation experience (6years for non grads) of design and detailing of waste water networks. Good Knowledge of production and checking design and associated documentation and risk assessments. A good understanding of the design and detailing process. Job Description: You will take a key role within project teams engaged on contracts involving waste water network design and detailing in the UK and overseas. Responsible for completion of the projects, ensuring that they are completed to budget, time, quality, meet the requirements of specification and which can be constructed and commissioned effectively. You will act as the team leader of Assistant Engineers and Technicians and liaise with the project management team. You will also be expected to help train and mentor engineers on the development programme. You will also be expected to assist the Technical Manager and Senior Engineer in the day to day operation of the department. Key Skills. Ability to carry out detailed design of waste water network to current standards; Coordinate and review the production of civil drawings associated with the implementation of the design calculations and risk assessments; Good communication and report writing skills; Good mentoring skills.
