Construction Planner / Project Planner
Our client is one of the largest construction contractors in the UK; they currently employ in excess of 4,000 employees and undertake £1Billion worth of work every year.
Due to superb management, excellent business practices and intensive growth strategies, they are currently looking to recruit an Intermediate/Senior Construction Planner with experience both on site and in the office. You will be working on one of their highest profile projects - a £150M new build in Central London, focusing on a large commercial office development.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- working on site managing the programme plans including costing, forecasting and budgeting.
- you will be the integral person for this project ensuring that all the sub contractors are effectively managed.
- you must possess excellent communication and presentation skills as you will be dealing at all levels of the business both internally or externally.
Essential skills
-The ideal candidate will have spent at least five years experience in the construction sector, with at least 3 in planning.
-The candidate must be comfortable using all aspects of Primavera P3 or Power project/Team plan.
-Strong communication skills are essential as you will be communicating with all levels of the business, both internally and externally.
-Eligible to work in the UK
Remuneration
For the successful applicant, our client offers a competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience. Other benefits include car/car allowance, pension and healthcare plan.
