This Water Company is looking for a Cost Clerk to work in the Anglian Region. The Commercial Department plays an integral part in the success of the Company contributing to growth in turnover and profitability. In turn this is passed on through efficient working practices and cost effective solutions to our clients resulting in further growth in turnover. Drawing from the extensive experience in Planning, Procurement and Quantity Surveying within the industry, with an emphasis on training, we are able to offer an environment in which individuals of all levels are able to grow and continuously develop as professionals. Exposure to various elements of the business which offers full turnkey capabilities to our Clients promotes a broader knowledge and awareness of commercial and contractual aspects. The variety of procurement routes utilised by ourselves and our Clients allows the possibility of working under various forms of Contract ranging from traditional lump sum projects to bespoke target cost framework projects, both domestically and internationally. In keeping with the company's vision we consider the most important asset of the department is the people and this is reflected in our drive to improve the development of individuals and teams within the business. You will provide a comprehensive costing service to the company. This will include assisting in the preparation of turnover forecasts in contract reviews, monitor contract performance against forecasts and budgets, assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts in contract reviews, liaise with sites, ensure costs are coded to contract day to day and ensure group accounting procedures are adhered to. You will also be required to ensure correct costs are coded to contracts and produce quarterly contract reviews.
