An opportunity has arisen for a CAD technician working for one of the large Consultancy businesses within Central London. They are looking for an individual to support the Bridges and Geotechnics teams on an exciting infrastructure design project. Responsibilities Drawing production and ensuring that all data produced follows the latest project standards. Liaison with other ?internal? disciplines. Responsible for own work (designs, drawings, calculations, etc) and required to self-check own work sufficiently to satisfy the QA requirements. Requirements Professional experience, with HNC or HND qualifications. Ability and experience in the application of Microstation XM/V8 is essential. Current experience of working as a CAD Technician in a civil engineering design environment (ideally bridges and geotechnics) is essential. Experience of 3D modelling would be advantageous. Experience of Geopak / Triforma would also be advantageous. Knowledge and experience of reinforced concrete detailing and structural steelwork.
