2x Field Service Engineer
Sunbury & Rugby
Testing, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning of equipment supplied by company and / or sub-vendors onshore and offshore worldwide.
Carry out visits to internal and external client's sites worldwide, onshore and offshore for the purposes of testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, servicing and maintaining equipment by Company and / or its sub-vendors.
Supervise as necessary Company, sub-vendors or other site labour.
Conduct all work activities in accordance with legal legislation and working conditions applicable to the site where the work is conducted ensuring that all work conducted does not compromise personnel or equipment safety.
Prepare and issue for all site work undertaken, a detailed client report identifying all work conducted and recording all hours worked.
Prepare internal reports from any site observations to allow continual improvement of the Companys documented quality system and standard design procedures.
Generate, as necessary, procedures for works testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, service and maintenance of equipment supplied by Company and / or its sub-vendors.
Conduct, as requested, specific visits to clients sites for the purposes of providing technical support and recommendations with respect to the supply of performance and maintenance enhancing modifications and / or necessary spare parts inventories - provide reports and technical support to the Aftermarket Sales team.
Whilst making any site visits, ensure that any opportunities as detailed above re considered and documented.
Actively report to the necessary internal responsible person, any information which may be received at any time which may be utilised to promote the Company and I its products and services.
Ensure all documentation related to the work performed is filed for future access in accordance with standard procedures.
Prepare any necessary documentation and information for the submission of invoicing, ensuring that this is conducted in a timely manner.
Be responsible for the safe keeping and maintenance of the Companys Test and Maintenance equipment.
Complete on a weekly basis, a Field Service Database Report.
Office based activities as necessary, including but not limited to preparation of 0 & M manuals, spares lists and technical advice to clients and internal departments.
Minimum HNC Engineering
Practical knowledge of process systems, commercial awareness, good interpersonal skills and customer Orientation. Self starter, team player.
Experience in a similar position - dependent upon qualification - product training to be provided as applicable.
Medically fit to UKOOA requirements for offshore, Norwegian Standard preferred.
