Associate Director
My client is looking for a an Associate to fill the position of Associate Director. The successful candidate will need to be a proven Quantity Surveyor and will ideally be a member of the Royal Institution of Quantity Surveyors.
Location: London City
Remuneration:
Between £60,000 and £75,000 per annum depending on Quantity Surveyor experience

The Role and Company:
The company has a list of long-term and repeat business clients, including Network Rail, TFL, and LUL. Their current projects include Thames-link, and representing LUL to prepare valuations and PPP reviews. They are also working on tunnel cooling systems in stations worth £1.5 billion, as well as an Access project involving the restructuring of tube stations for disabled access at Kingscross worth £500 million.
There is are also a tender in place for a framework for LUL of contracts to deal with the overload of work that other infracos can not deal with, meaning they need staff with good procurement skills.
Skills & Knowledge:
The successful candidate shall be a degree-qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor with excellent experience. They will manage and check sub-ordinates work, and will have previously led and managed a team of surveyors/estimators. Good estimating experience is essential but experience of stations and operating railways would be a bonus.
