My client is a leading commercial building group who have been established for over 20 years, this builder now has offices throughout the Eastern Seaboard of Australia to service a broad range of repeat clients. Due to continued growth in the Sydney region this builder now requires an experienced Site Manager to join it's team.
This builder has developed a sound working culture and has developed strong relationships with clients, architects and most importantly subcontractors over recent years. This group has a huge pipeline of work available and can boast several government agencies amongst it's clients, which will carry them through the rest of 2008 and beyond. This builder can offer a diverse project range including new and refurbishment commercial, retail and light industrial projects.
As a Site Manager you will have day to day control of the project and will be able to work closely with an experienced Project Manager to deliver quality constructions on time and under budget. You will be responsible for the safety, productivity and quality of the work carried out on site and be able to drive the program to ensure on time delivery.
You will be from a trade background or have completed a tertiary qualification in construction, most importantly you will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering significant commercial or light industrial projects valued over USD 5M. You will have a sound understanding of building technologies, be I.T. literate and have knowledge of running a construction project to a realistic deadline. You should be an excellent communicator at all levels and have the skills to get people on side to assist you in delivering my clients promises.
In return you can expect a very competitive package of up to USD 140K neg and to opportunity to work with a respected builder on a broad range of projects, this group has a great deal of work signed up to commence in 2008.
