Commercial Manager / Senior Commercial Manager - £55k - £65k

A Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Manager / Project Leader is required to join a prestigious dynamic Construction Consultancy based in the Buckinghamshire area.

Remuneration:
£55,000 - £65,000 per annum plus benefits

Location:
The successful Commercial Manager will be based in my clients offices in Buckinghamshire

The client:
My client is a construction and property consultancy, and support company. They offer a wide range of construction and property related services with their main focus to add value to their clients

With experience of working on multi project roll-out programmes for clients such as Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Abbey, Dixons Stores Group and Safeway throughout the UK whilst working alongside their property teams and contractors.

The job:
Responsibilities for the Commercial Manager are as follows: (not limited to)
• Assist in the setting up and development of the 'project delivery team' within my client which encompasses cost management, project management and employers agent
• Take on the role of account manager for major project delivery clients
• Undertake where required the role of cost manager, employer's agent or project manager on my clients projects
• Business development - seeking new clients, promoting FOUR Group services to meet the forecasts of the company
• Working with the board to develop and review the company strategy for the project delivery team
• Manage the project delivery team to make sure that all internal & external customers requirements are met
• Develop cost planning module within Activeplan and assist Activeplan in the marketing of this module
• Establish key performance indicators for the project delivery team. Regularly review and establish causes of good and bad performance
• Highlight possible business growth opportunities

Requirements:
• Quantity Surveying background with ideally more than 10-15 years experience
• Chartership is beneficial
• Retail / fit out / refurb experience is preferable
• Good business development experience is essential
• Good Communication skills
• Excellent leadership skills
