Our clients, are a large consultancy organisation, who are looking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer at their offices in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of public and private sector clients on some key and major projects and offers the opportunity for you to broaden your experience. Day-to-day responsibilities will include but not exclusive to: ·Assist colleagues on Projects and coordinate with other engineering disciplines including, Structural, tunnel and bridge engineers. ·Assist projects and occasionally assist in project management as required. ·Responsible for the production of design solutions and drawings, covering a range of project requirements from new build to modification, maintenance and refurbishment. ·Contribute to risk assessment and specification document. ·Assist in the management of new graduate engineers supporting their development and capability. Successful Candidates are likely to have the following characteristics: ·Good academic background ideally with an engineering degree (or equivalent). Further academic qualifications (e.g. MA or MSc) will benefit any applicant. ·Ideally, any candidate should have engineering chartership status, ideally with some years of post-chartership and seeking to expand and maximise career opportunities. ·Experience of working on multiple concurrent commissions, and representing the company to clients ·Any project management experience will benefit an applicant although preferential than essential. ·Be innovative looking to develop their technical and management skills and the willingness to tackle any challenge ·A strong team player and capable of supporting junior staff in their delivery and career development.
