An Award winning Environmental and Energy focused consultancy are looking to appoint a Senior Technical Manager within the Buildings and Energy Section of their Climate Change and Renewables Division. This is due to a direct result of the success that the Climate Change team have achieved to date and the successful applicant will support the anticipated growth in this area.

With offices throughout the UK and a key interest in development of staff this role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of high profile clients and projects both in the private and public sector and therefore considerable experience of working within a commercial/consulting environment is required.

You will also hold an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or environmental degree (or equivalent) with a buildings and/or energy focus preferably complimented by a post graduate degree or diploma in an appropriate discipline i.e. building services
Professional membership (i.e. chartered engineer) is also preferred as well as BREEAM accreditation or membership of the CIBSE/EI and SAP assessor would also be advantageous.

Knowledge of building energy demand/ modelling, M&E services, HVAC, lighting, buildings controls engineering in one or more sectors and energy engineering is essential and you must be able to demonstrate a depth and breadth of experience and a track record in the implementation of renewable energy projects.A flexible attitude, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial flair are all essential along with the ability to work under pressure. You will also require a valid driving licence.

Training in BREEAM and other appropriate skills may be offered as well as a chance to work cross functionally with other groups in the business.
