An exciting opportunity exists within this highly regarded end-of-line packaging machinery specialist, operating from a base in the Hertfordshire region they provide various packaging and conveying machinery to the entire UK and on occasion overseas.

Due to growth and development plans this leading packaging machinery specialist is looking to recruit a regional service engineer for the North Midlands region; however engineers in this area will be expected to manage a territory that would comprise both the Midlands and Northern England potentially including call outs to Scotland.

The position requires a multi-skilled engineer who is able to fault find and modify on PLC programs and who is familiar with the mechanical and electrical aspects of packaging machinery installations and commissioning the machinery types include; pick and place, palletising, flow and shrink wrapping, conveyors and strapping machinery systems.

The successful engineer will possess excellent communication and presentation skills and will be flexible regarding travel as some site visits may incur an overnight stay.
As the role is working from home self motivated engineers with a good level of commitment are required.
