Maintenance Engineers required for a highly profitable and expanding business.

One of the U.K's largest independent family owned FMCG manufactures has enjoyed long term growth since the early 1980's. With continued investment in their production plants and the opening of their state of the art fully automated production facility.

Due to the continued expansion programme an opportunity has arisen for Maintenance Control Superintendents. Operating a continental shift pattern (2days, 2nights and 4 off). Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the supervision of craft workers within this organisation. Ensuring that all planned maintenance tasks are completed according to the businesses PPM schedule, prioritise work to ensure that manufacturing downtime is kept to a minimum. Liaise with external contractors conducting maintenance operations. Report to senior management problems affecting production with a need for a flexible approach to work regarding on call responsibility. Identification of any required training for maintenance personnel to assist the business. Your skills will be from a electrical maintenance background (experience in PLC's a distinct bonus) and experience in a supervisory role beneficial. Apprenticed trained and ideally 16th edition qualification.

In return you can expect a salary up to £37,000. A realistic opportunity for career progression within a dynamic expanding organisation. Development of existing skills and further training relevant to the business.
