An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced service manager to join this highly
regarded, family owned, packaging machinery manufacturer.

The company have been in operation for over 25 years, currently turnover in excess of £4.5million and have developed an excellent reputation for delivering high quality machines throughout the UK and overseas.

With expansion and growth on the horizon they are now looking for a committed and highly professional service manager able to influence and manage internal change.

The core duties involve managing the work allocation and personal development of the current team of field based engineers, with a view to reducing the breakdown and service response times, in addition the service manager will also be directly involved with increasing non machine and machine related spares / parts sales.

Excellent communication skills both written and oral are required due to the increasing level of communication required with internal teams, sub contractors and clients.

The successful candidate must also be willing to travel to client sites for reviews, surveys and to assist with service / installation projects.

We are looking for a service professional that has established man management skills a good understanding of PLC and Automation systems, packaging machinery experience and is familiar with after sales service delivery.
