Assistant Utilities Planner/Intermediate Utilities Planner

An Assistant Utilities Planner/Intermediate Utilities Planner is required by a market leader. You will be based in the planning department in Hertfordshire, reporting to the planning manager there. The company also seeks a planner in North London.

This is a role with one of our biggest clients, a key player in the construction and engineering sectors with an outstanding reputation. The company was established over 150 years ago, and their proven track record over such a period of time has greatly contributed to the fact that they are seen as a market leader. They currently employ over 15,000 people across the globe on a variety of projects.

Due to the recent renewal of a framework agreement, they currently are seeking a Planner of Junior or Intermediate level. The company is constantly working on many multi-million pound projects, with this particular role being based on several leading water projects in the Hertfordshire area. These include wastewater treatment plants and sludge digestion systems.

Essential skills required in order to apply for this role:

- You must be a competent planner within any sector
- You will preferably have an engineering background
- You must have experience of planning projects from conception and the ability to create fully resourced and cost loaded programmes, as opposed to simply data inputting
- You must be IT literate and preferably knowledgeable in the use of either Primavera P3 or P3e. If you do not have Primavera experience, you must be IT literate and training will be provided

Remuneration

For the successful applicant, our client will offer remuneration of up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
