Our client is one of the largest contractors in the UK with a network of 8 offices throughout the UK. They are involved in all areas of the civils, construction and rail industries and are currently seeking an experienced civils planner to join their expanding team in North London.
The role
You will be based on various sites across the London area and will be working on framework highways projects valued up to 15 million pounds. Current project needs are based outside the M25 corridor and you will be expected to prepare tender programmes and update contract programmes in regards to any changes on the projects.
Successful Candidate
Ideally you will come from an engineering / civils background and have experience of working within a planning environment for a minimum of 3 years. Any site based experience would be highly advantageous as would any planning knowledge of bridges or highways. The candidate will be expected to have a developed knowledge of construction methodology, an appreciation of commercial matters, enthusiasm and enjoy working in a team.
Remuneration
The salary offered for this role will be up to £40,000 per annum dependent on experience and the benefits package will include a company car / car allowance, fuel, healthcare and a company pension scheme that is highly competitive.
