Project Controls Engineer (Planning Background)

We are working with a prominent client based in Manchester who are currently seeking a Project Controller. This is to be based in the Central Manchester area within their existing Planning and Project Controls team.

This client has an excellent reputation for delivering projects within the transportation sector, including rail and other forms of transport. The company has recently secured a large amount of work, and due to this they need to expand their planning/project controls function.

They are seeking someone at intermediate to senior level to join their busy team and receive the support needed in order to progress through the company in a challenging but progressive environment

For a role at this level they do expect the successful applicant to have a well rounded knowledge of most aspects of project controls, including earned value analysis and resource loading so ideally you should have at least 2 -3 years of planning/ project controls experience. It would be ideal if this was within the rail sector, but sector experience is not essential. An understanding of Primavera P3 is also desirable.

In return for your skills and commitment, you will be rewarded with a generous basic salary and excellent training and career prospects. You can expect to receive up to £40 000 per annum dependent on experience. In addition to this you will receive travel allowance and a market leading pension.
