BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Implementation of project Quality Plan for the DCS activities & project specific procedures. Ensure that the sub-contractor responsible for the DCS system implements suitable quality systems & that Inspection and Test Plans are implemented. Perform inspection activities and witness testing as required by applicable Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Participate in the surveillance/audit process to monitor construction & quality control when requested by the site QA/QC Manager. Prepare daily inspection reports for DCS activities. Generate Nonconformance and Surveillance Reports for activities and materials on site found not in conformance with specified requirements.
Review of Construction QC records prepared by construction sub-contractors prior to handover to the Client. Interface with the Client's inspection personnel.
DCS, ESD, F&G and Analyser System Installation & Testing. Able to review, interpret and work in accordance with Client/Company standards and procedures. Familiar with working to Inspection & Test Plans.
Knowledge of the following:
Installation and testing of control and protection systems for package mechanical equipment and fired equipment.
Control, Protection and Instrumentation for Ethylene and/or Petrochemical Plant, Oil & Gas Applications.
Must be familiar with European, American and International standards applicable to the petrochemical and power industry.
Qualifications:
Degree or HNC qualified with extensive experience.
Experience:
Experience in petrochemical and related industries. Previous experience on a major project. Working overseas/middle east in a multi-cultural environment. Alternatively extensive experience and superior expertise in a specialized subject or related industry.
Inter-personal skills required, as this position will involve working closely with Client and subcontractor inspection personnel.
