My client specialise in high quality fit out, refurbishment and new developments across London and the Home Counties. They are an innovative, proactive company who are flexible enough to undertake all types of projects from main contracting through to multi-trade/package contracting. Due to an increase in project wins they currently require a planner to join their team based in Surrey.
The Role
Projects comprise of new build, refurbishment and reconstructions mainly on large retail and commercial developments. You will also be involved in the production of tender programmes and liaising with contractors and senior management.
The successful planner will be handling one of these projects and report directly into the senior planner within the team. This opportunity will allow you to receive training on a one - to - one basis and therefore quick progression within the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- monitoring construction programmes
- scheduling
- producing reports within powerproject
- producing tender reports
Skills required
You will ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 2 years planning experience within the construction sector.
They currently use powerproject as a planning tool and any previous experience of using this would be advantageous.
Remuneration
