1) Demonstrable experience in supervision and management of large-scale civil construction projects with particular emphasis on surface ground water, storm water management projects, drainage networks, infrastructure and environmental projects, monitoring all the project technical aspects to achieve the construction compliance with the specifications and quality requirements.

2) It is an essential element for the position to acquire the up-to-date engineering knowledge and proven experience (on hand) in respect of the relevant International Standards for Quality Assurance procedures and Quality Control for engineering projects, construction materials and workmanship. He shall possess a proven record of experience in the preparation, review and evaluation of material submissions, analyze laboratory and technical reports, carryout acceptance sampling plans, testing and quality measures, verify the quality of all construction materials and ensuring the compliance with the project specifications and relevant international Standards. He is to possess the necessary skills and qualification to control, execute and implement statistically sound acceptance plans to all field activities with the best levels of quality and efficiency, abiding by all the standards, specifications and procedures set within the project.

3) Knowledge of engineering drafting methods and computer aided design.

4) Knowledge of the engineering principles of MICRO-TUNNELING works, techniques, and practices, including the strength of materials and QC of jacking pipes production and installation.

5) Have the aptitude to monitor the progress, revise, update, present scheduling for the work activities and resources, cost managing and setting up productivity-based forecasts and recommendations at how to best utilize resources, lessen congestion, improve safety and increase longevity of the infrastructure.
