Overview
My client is seeking an Assistant Planner with excellent communication skills to help expand the Planning facility of this fresh and unique consultancy within their Hertfordshire office. This role will also incorporate client visits.
You will be responsible for assisting a small team of project planners working on the fit out of various retails projects for a multitude of prestigious end clients.
This opening provides a possibility to develop within the company and a chance to help grow & develop the planning function as a whole.

My client is an innovative and dynamic consultancy that specialises in construction and property related services.
They have projected massive growth for the next 12 months and require an assistant support this growth and help push the company further forwards.
Essential skills:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years Planning experience. (other good candidates may be considered if they can demonstrate the ability to do the job.)
They are looking for someone with excellent communication skills as the role involves client facing work as well as liasing with planning staff internally.
You will be IT proficient, ideally having used Asta Powerproject although other planning software experience will be considered.
Significant experience of using microsoft excel would be an advantage.
The responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
-Assisting tender and site planning
-Creating plans from pre construction through to completion
-Monitoring and reporting on the project progress
Remuneration
The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of up to £30,000 + comprehensive benefits package.
