BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Our client requires a Project Quality Manager for their site team at the Peru LNG site in Pampa Melchorita, Peru (approx 250 km S of Lima).
This position will report to the Construction Quality Manager.
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years experience in a senior site quality management position in the petro-chemical industry and preferably with some LNG experience.
Formal qualifications in a construction related discipline are desirable.
Thorough working knowledge of structural, tankage & piping Codes e.g. AISC, API 620 and ASTM 31.3 including the fabrication, erection, inspection & testing thereof.
Experience of NFPA codes for Electrical, Instrumentation and Fire & Gas installations and the installation, inspection & testing thereof would be an added advantage.
Other relevant qualification/training include:
ISO 9001 Auditor Training.
NDE qualifications.
Inspector qualifications.
The position is for an immediate start on an assignment basis in accordance with the Peru LNG standard T&C's, expected duration until the end of 2010.
