Our clients are a large rail organisation, who are looking to recruit a Survey Data & CAD Manager at their offices in Central London. You will act as the focal point for the manipulation and storage of survey related data. Issue survey data (including survey control) to MRSSL and the supply chains. Manage the Survey and Civil direct CAD resource and provide technical leadership to CAD technicians within MRSSL Capital Projects Engineering. It is assumed the CAD package used will be MicroStation, with Projectwise as the data management tool. Data will be in the following forms: - CAD files, coordinate listings, witness diagrams, photographs, survey files (Starnet, Terramodel, etc.) Experience and qualifications: -Experience in a CAD / GIS environment, of which at least 3 years must have been spent in a managerial role. -Good working knowledge of MicroStation CAD (2D & 3D)-Able to undertake drawing work so standards can be set from a "hands on" understanding of the system. -Familiar with drawing / document management software (ideally Projectwise). -Good presentational skills - able to run CAD forums and present to senior management. -Good communicator - Keep all CAD staff, management and system administrators informed of changes, system faults, etc. If you wish to apply for this role, please contact Darren Willimot on 02083996418 or darren.willimot@nestrack.co.uk.
