This is an opportunity for a Drilling Engineer with a background in Deepwater programmes, to work for a major international Operator.
Prime responsibilities will be for:
Well planning.
Drill Service support.
Training and mentoring local staff.
Drilling is offshore 1000m+ depth.
This is a long-term assignment on a 28/28 day rotation.
The accommodation and workplace are relatively quiet and secure.
Start date is expected to be August or October, to meet Back-to-Back commitments.
An Engineering-based Degree would be expected.
A minimum of ten years' experience is required, together with:
Significant Deepwater Drilling experience.
Significant experience with Major Oil & Gas producers.
Experience in difficult locations - ideally West Africa.
