BRIEF DESCRIPTION
To develop a project-wide culture whereby contributors will execute the project with no harm to people or the environment. To ensure that all project uncertainties are systematically identified, assessed and proactively managed in order to maximise opportunities whilst managing possible threats.
Health , Safety & Environmental:
Ensure compliance with HS&E legislation, policies, guidance and best practice.
Build a culture of personal accountability where safe behaviours are re-inforced, and at-risk behaviours are challenged.
Ensure that all project participants are provided with the tools and knowledge to allow them to work within the safe operating envelope of legislation, procedures and competence.
Incorporate sustainability principles into the way in which we shall manage and deliver Health and Safety objectives on the project.
Project Execution:
Execute project in accordance with the Health and Safety plan and client requirements.
Prepare a risk management plan
Execute a risk management process in line with the plan
Implement a monitoring process to measure effectiveness of risk management, and initiate process improvement.
Demonstrate the effectiveness of closely aligned working between the SHEQ and Technical Safety teams, based upon shared goals, common understanding and effective communications
Essential:
Experienced in safety, security, health, and environment delivery in the offshore oil and gas industry; Experience of working through all stages of a project lifecycle to include experience of SHE management during, feed engineering, procurement detail design, construction management, commissioning etc; Knowledge of legislation and industry and practices; experience of implementing an audit programme; experience of behavioural safety techniques and programmes; experienced in health monitoring programmes; experienced in workforce communication.
