BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the implementation of the Construction Quality program at site and reports administratively to the Senior Construction Site Representative (SCSR). Retains a functional reporting link to the Project QA Manager to resolve any issues that cannot be resolved directly with the SCSR. Key activities include:
*Implementation of a Quality Plan for the site activities and project specific procedures as required.
*Interface with the client's quality personnel.
*Organising the Site QC/Inspection team.
*Evaluation of Contractor's Quality Systems.
*Implement a surveillance/audit procedure to monitor construction and quality control to the extent necessary to provide construction management with confidence that appropriate measures are taken by the subcontractors to control/achieve quality.
*Ensure that each construction sub-contractor implements suitable quality systems and that Inspection and that Inspection and Test Plans are implemented for all major construction activities to identify the inspection involvement of all third party Inspection Bureaus.
*Manage the Inspection notification scheme to ensure that necessary parties are in attendance at key inspection stages including those of the owner and third party Inspection Bureaus as necessary.
*Maintain control over the response and resolution of any Nonconformance Reports received from Client or other sources.
*Review of Construction QC records prepared by Contractors and co-ordination of the overall certification records for the constructed works and managing handover to the Client.
*Assist in the preparation of the weekly and monthly reports for the Construction Director summarizing the Information contained in the various Inspection, nonconformity, and Daily Construction Reports from the previous reporting period.
Requirements
You are likely to have a BSc or HNC in a related engineering discipline. Registered Lead Auditor or competent auditor based on qualification and experience. You will have considerable experience in Quality Management and have held a management role.
