Job Description
A leading engineering, environmental, management and design consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer be a key part of the Soil and Groundwater team in Leeds. This role comes with excellent training, variety and career progression opportunities.

About the Role
*Site investigation design and execution
*Budget control
*Project team management
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to generate and technically review reports
*The ability to complete factual and interpretative Phase 1 and 2 assessments and undertake geotechnical design
*A clear understanding of the requirements of developers when developing Brownfield sites.
*Ability to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy.

About You
*BSc in a relevant discipline, preferably Geology, Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering
*Ideally MSc in related subject
*Full UK driving licence
*Experience of Planning, managing and supervising Phase 1and 2 investigations including soil and rock logging, soil and groundwater sampling and in situ testing.
*Financial project control experience
*Ability to produce interpretative geotechnical reports
*Previous use of geotechnical assessment packages such as Slide, Slope, WALLOP.
