The Construction Manager will be responsible for the management of all construction and erection activities related to a all EPC Projects including Power Station projects. Implementation of the Safety Management Plan. The position includes working with the company's construction management team as well as consortium partners covering the construction work.

Job Description:

Responsible for the implementation of the Safety Management Plan to ensure zero injuries.
Responsibility for preparation and implementation of the project construction philosophy and establishing the detailed execution strategy for the construction of EPC Projects in consultation with the Project Manager.
Planning detailed schedules of work execution.
Defining personnel requirements.
Initiate material orders, if required.
Directing the construction activities and ensuring overall construction progress as scheduled.
Coordinating all jobsites activities including subcontractors, suppliers, clients and their representatives.
Interface with the home office during the design and supply stages of the project
Lead the constructability study during the project design phase
Ensuring project activities are being executed according to timetable and budget.
Excellent knowledge of construction, costing, scheduling, estimating, and employee relations and HSE regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Significant experience (10 years at least) as Construction Manager of EPC Projects including Power Station Projects.
Experienced in EPC project management environment
Strong background in engineering, commercial and contractual matters as well as having an ability to deal with consortium partners and suppliers.
Knowledgeable in project management relating to all operational and administration procedures.
Prior CM experience in the region -an advantage.
