Job Description
A leading, multinational, multi-disciplinary consultancy I looking to recruit a Senior (or Principal) Ecologist to join the existing team in Birmingham and be a key part in Ecological projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to increase your knowledge and further your career.
About the Role
*Be responsible for the successful management of projects and supervision of junior staff
*Assisting in the development of the professional standards and client care
*Provide technical guidance in the formation of Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA)
*Manage various projects including budgets and deadlines.
About You
*First degree in environmental or biological science
*Second, further degree would be a distinct advantage
*Have consultancy experience of species and habitat surveys, survey design, impact assessment and mitigation
*Ability to write high quality ecological reports, undertake ecological impact assessment (EcIA) work and design ecological mitigation schemes
*Membership of IEEM would be an advantage.
