This global manufacturing business are currently seeking an Applications Engineer to join their team.
The Role:
The overall purpose of the role is to actively promote the development of standardised or customised product and solutions in order to enhance the global competitiveness.
Duties:
* The co-ordination and management of application and development projects towards the clients customers, including documentation.
* Provide a high level of support (technical & administrative) to the customers e.g. proposals, quotes, contract reviews etc..
* Represent H&S at technical seminars and exhibitions
* Internal & external product training
* Provide market intelligence for division on pricing strategies and competitor activity
* Assist in generating new customer leads
The Candidate:
Educated to A Level or equivalent within an engineering discipline with a working knowledge of RF technologies.
You must be able to create and convey written information accurately and coherently using appropriate vocabulary, therefore computer literacy within the use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook are essential.
Experience of working in the production of antenna filters, passive RF components or have a background in RF interconnect maybe suitable.
This position would suit a candidate that has worked in a technical support capacity and is looking to get more into a customer focused role.
