Job Description:
My client is an exciting new research venture associating two of the leading academic research establishments in France. This research centre is being established to promote a new integrated approach in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in the field of "Green Chemistry", studying modern synthetic systems, related to biomass, targeting a broad variety of applications ranging from pharmaceuticals and cosmetics to polymers and fine chemicals.
The position covers teaching and research responsibilities. The candidate will develop and coordinate new research programs, but also manage the current research activities in the field of thermal processes and heat treatment of renewable materials, in academic or industrial partnerships. Particular interest will be put on the development of international programs, via European projects or equivalents.
Candidate Requirements:
Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years research experience and are dedicated to initiating and developing a strong and sustainable integrated program in the indicated areas.
