An outstanding opportunity exists in this packaging machinery manufacturer for an internal assembly team leader.
The company provide various packaging machines to a worldwide client base and currently have an opening for a competent man manager able to manage processes and motivate engineers.
Ideally the candidate will have previous supervisory experience and will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering principles. Although this is a hand's on engineering position another aspect of the position is to deputise for the assembly manager in his absence therefore engineers with Health and Safety experience would be of interest.
In addition to the man management aspects another main focus is to drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles within the team to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in all assembly functions, the right candidate will have a lot of influence in what changes are implemented and will have the opportunity to identify alternative processes and implement them.
