Assistant Quantity Surveyor: Based Cheadle Hulme This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with one of the most recognised and respected brands in the construction and civil engineering industry. This position is to join the Commercial team for the North West and begin to get involved in some of the most important projects in the region. The business offers a complete service involvement extends from feasibility through construction to maintenance, and ranges from individual projects through to long-term framework agreements. Role responsibilities will include: · Supports in the compilation of monthly applications for payment, invoices and certification process · Able to procure and manage some sub-contract accounts and reconciliation of quotes · Support in the compilation of subcontract end out liabilities and forecasts · Compile and provide commercial information/reports for line manager · Complete simple measurement, in accordance with method of measurement requirements · Accurate record keeping of site construction activities · General office duties and administrative support to the QS team / line manager · Responsible for working with the BMS, HSQE, CSR guidelines and promote on all projects · To take an interest in and assist in all aspects of the project I am looking for candidates who have experience of working for a main contractor and have the drive to push themselves forward by working for a business that will support their development through the business.
