Estimator Based Cheshire (near Knutsford) Salary: £25-40,000 plus fully expensed car, pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday. This position is working for a market-leading specialist in the development, manufacture and application of a high performance product essential in all construction fields. Established for over 40 years this business has continued to go from strength to strength and now has over 30 offices worldwide. This business supports the construction of road, rail, commercial and residential buildings and plays an integral supply role for many of the World?s largest developments. This position is working for the UK arm of the business and will take responsibility for: The purchasing of materials from suppliers Sourcing new suppliers Managing tenders Visiting sites, managing and budgeting for labour usage Negotiation of costings Involvement in the sales process of product to established and new clients This role is one of only 2 Estimators for the UK business and will report directly to the Managing Director, which I think demonstrates the integral part this person will play for the company. This person must be able to demonstrate experience of estimating and negotiating within a constructions or civil engineering business and must be able to show the drive to take that role further in being able to generate sales for the business.
