Our prestigious rail client is currently seeking an experienced CAD Technician for their Euston offices. The candidate will be responsible for the preparation and update of Asset Location Plans, Station Asset Plans but with a focus on the creation and update of Asset Drainage Drawings for both BCV and SSL Civil assets.
Key Accountabilities
*To prepare drawings in Bentley Ltd software (Microstation) co-ordinating other disciplines services and as directed by Line Manager.
*Produce a variety of visual data forms including marked-up drawings, sketches and diagrams.
*Suggest changes to CAD standards and assist in updating when required, to support changes in working practice.
*Responsible for storing CAD files correctly in the Document Management System
Experience
Essential:
*Proven experience using Microstation CAD software.
*Experience in producing design / detail drawings and data manipulation.
Desirable:
*Proficient in all Microsoft office software (excluding Access)
*Proven experience of underground utilities/drainage is desirable
