Based in the West Midlands, our client is a leading manufacturer of components to the automotive industry. Due to continued innovation and success within their field they are currently looking to recruit an Applications Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the engineering content for new programme launches as well as engineering change activity. You will also be involved in all GPDS / APQP processes as well as responsibility for product design, design release, DFMEA and testing.

The ideal person will have come from a similar Applications role within an Automotive environment, have project management experience and good commercial acumen.

In return the company offers a salary up to £32,000 plus benefits.
