FREELANCE COMMERCIAL MANAGER REQUIRED FOR £80M RAIL PROJECT
My client is a world leader in the Project Management, Design, Installation, and Testing and Commissioning of complex railway infrastructure projects.
They are currently looking for Commercial Manager to be primarily based at the project offices in London and will be occasionally required to travel for site visits
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for establishing and implementing commercial/procurement management and reporting systems and procedures. You will also be involved in evaluating and managing all contractual risks whilst working with operational managers to maximise commercial benefits of all contracts within the Rail Business Unit.
The successful Commercial Manager will also require a proven track record in the contracting environment.
The following duties are as follows:
" Understanding and negotiating contracts.
" Preparation and dealing with tenders.
" Management of subcontractors.
" Management of client accounts.
" Management of Cash flow and Revenue streams
" Management of Project Change Control Procedures
" Final Account settlements and agreement
Requirements:
15+ Years experience
BSc in Quantity Surveying is desirable
Rail contractor background
Professional qualifications to MRICS or similar would be a distinct advantage.
Commercial Manager experience is essential
Remiunation: Negotiable dependant on experience
Duration: 6 Months
