Job Description

A leading environmental and engineering consultancy is currently looking for several Air Quality Consultants of Senior or Principal level to join the existing Environmental Planning team. Salary and responsibilities will reflect the level of the successful person. This role is ideally based in Manchester although most UK locations will be considered.

About the Role
*You will be responsible for projects in the public and private sector.
*Key responsibilities will be emission monitoring, data analysis, sample collection, identifying and using correct air quality technology and report writing.
*You will also have complete project responsibility including leading teams of consultants and mentoring more junior members of staff
*Preparing bids and proposals
*Liaise with clients and members of multi-disciplinary teams


About You
*Previous experience of a similar role, ideally with a UK consultancy including air quality, odour assessment, and relevant regulations
*Degree educated in a relevant subject. Post graduate degree an advantage.
*Have public inquiry experience
*Membership to a relevant professional body, such as IAQM, would be a distinct advantage
*Previous experience of leading and mentoring teams
*Project management and report writing skills.
*Full UK driving licence
