At their UK head office, they specialise in the design, manufacture and after sales support for steam turbines with a generating capacity of up to 40MW. An experienced Steam Turbine Design Engineer is required who can work as an Application Engineer specifically on customer specific designs. Working as part of a large design team, the successful engineer will also be in a position to further develop the technical ability of junior team members. A background is required within mechanical engineering together with a comprehensive technical knowledge of steam turbines. As well as your technical expertise, you will need to be a confident communicator, who feels comfortable to challenge the status quo. Any experience of using AxSTREAM would be a distinct advantage although training can be provided.
