APPLICATIONS ENGINEER VISION SYSTEMS HULL £35-40K Ref: 8918 Our client is a world leading packaging solutions provider, they specialise in machine vision inspection, packaging line automation and performance management systems. Following an exceptional year and in line with corporate growth plans they now seek an experienced Applications Engineer. The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting the sales operation throughout Europe providing technical input and providing solutions based on customer needs within vision systems. The role will also include optics and lighting evaluation for machine vision applications, optimal high-level system architecture and integration design of the companies patented products. Expertise is required within a packaging line sector ideally for applications in pharmaceutical production although other industry sectors will be considered. Additionally engineers will need knowledge of control and automation technology including serial and Ethernet communications. Any foreign language skills would be highly desirable.
