An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner to make the step up to Senior Consultant. My client are a specialist Traffic and Transport Consultancy and they are looking for an indiidual who has an extensive background working alongside both major private consultancies and local authorities. Joining the B ristol office, you will be working closely with the Cardiff, Taunton and Birmingham offices, as well as the Welsh Executive. You must have a good understanding of the DMRB, have a working knowledge of industry software packages such as ARCADY, PICADY, TRANSYT and LINSIG and have an understanding of legal and regulatory policy. The role will include the production of Transport Assessments, local strategies and policies, travel plans and economical and environmental assessments. You will be expected to manage current projects, and assist in the winning of new business. You will also be required to develop the Transportation team alongside the Principal Consultant.
