My client, one of the worlds largest privately held property developers is now seeking a Urban Planner to join their team now
You will be responsible for input and advice on the planning and urban design components of work for structure plans, master plans and associated planning strategies, reports and documents related to the projects.
Therefore your key responsibilities will include:-
• Manage and deliver selected projects in the Islands’ Team work programme. This may involve managing consultants and liaising with stakeholders within the Company
• Prepare and/or review selected Development Control Regulations (DCRs) for a range of regional policy issues, for application across Waterfront Islands.
• Research and prepare selected policy issues for inclusion in, or updating of existing project-specific DCRs.
• Maintain liaison with the City Relations team and other Development Teams that are progressing detailed Master Plans within Dubai Waterfront.
• Work with the Master Plan Manager to define the planning and urban design work required to prepare comprehensive Waterfront Island Master Plans.
• Work with the Master Plan Manager to develop the design capability within the Waterfront Islands Project Team
• Work with the Master Plan Manager to establish targets and goals for the Waterfront Islands Team.
• Ensure the sound principles of design excellence, sustainability and commercial viability are represented equally in the work produced by the Waterfront Islands Unit.
• Define any procedures or operational advice required to deliver the work programme and functions of the planning and urban design capability within the Waterfront Islands Team.
In return they are offering an excellent salary and full benefits package with one flight per annum for family and self, health care, 25 days holiday and bonus scheme. The 50,000 duram per month is equal to about £7,500 per month depending on the prevailing exchange rates.
