A leading UK Main Contractor requires the services of a Health and Safety Manager to work on a series of projects in the South London area.
Remuneration:
£34,000 - £36,000 per annum plus benefits

The client:
Our client is a well respected and experienced contractor with over a quarter of a century within the market. They have developed in all levels of the construction process, with specificity affordable housing and public sector building projects in and around London and the surrounding counties.
Due to the signing of new projects and planned growth they require an additional Health and Safety Manager to work on a range of projects in and around the South London area.
The job:
As the successful Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for looking after a range of projects all based in the South East London area. Projects are a handful of new build jobs which are mainly for the Building Schools for the Future programme and there are also a few refurbishment projects.
The newly appointed Health and Safety Manager will be working from home to site and thus will have complete control over their own diaries and will be given a high level of autonomy. Core duties for the Health and Safety Manager are audits, inspections, accident reporting, risk assessments and method statements

Requirements:
3 – 4+ years on site construction Health and Safety experience
Main Contractor background
New build project experience
A NEBOSH Construction Certificate is desirable
