My client are looking to recruit an experienced Senior or Principal Environmental Consultant to join the well established Environmental and Geotechnical team in Cardiff. You will be expected to hit the ground running with project work due to several schemes already under way. The role will include the preparation of test and commercial proposals for bids, assist with EIA and SEA preparations, act as line manager / project manager and manage technical and financial elements of the projects. The succesfful applicant will be one can: - Act as project manager on EIA/SEA projects - Manage junior members of staff - Ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget - Monitor financial performances - Prepare of bids and tenders - Assist in Marketing - Act as line manager in the office (staff appraisals) It is essential that all applicants have extensive experience working within an environmental consultancy on major infrastructure projects (highways, property, waer) It is expected that you hold a relevant MSc as well IEMA membership.
