Commercial Manager - Rare Opportunity Managing New Rail Division
One of the UK's leading construction contractors is offering a rare opportunity for a Commercial Manager to be the sole commercial representative for an entire business unit.
Location
London City - Site visits to the London area.
Remuneration
-£55,000 - £65,000 (dependant upon experience
-Executive Company Car / Car Allowance (£7,260 - £8,800)
-Bonus plan (up to 20% of basic salary)
-Pension available after 6 months
-Private Medical Insurance cover after 24 months

The Client
My client is a national service provider delivering £200 million of added value infrastructure services in the utilities, rail and renewable energy markets. They provide dynamic solutions to blue chip clients throughout the United Kingdom.
Overview of the role
My client has recently created a Rail Division due to the increase in workload in this sector of their business which includes cabling, signalling, electrical, plant, minor civils and design consultancy in the Rail and London Underground sector.
Requirements
10+years previous commercial experience
The successful Commercial Manager will also require a proven track record in the contracting environment.
A degree qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor, ideally Chartered.
A self starter with previous experience of civil engineering, M&E and/ or Rail contracting.
Track record of exceeding business targets and KPIs.
Ability to identify and resolve problems at an early stage.
Accurate with good attention to detail and highly organised.
An experienced negotiator and skilled communicator.
Team Player able to communicate at all levels.
