Managing Quantity Surveyor/ Commercial Manager M&E Position, London City, up to £75k in a prestigious Consultancy.

My client is a well-known leading multidisciplinary consultancy, as well as London based offices they are a worldwide organisation and an annual turnover of over £200 million. They now seek senior candidates with a strong Quantity Surveying background to head up teams based in Central London.

Remuneration: £60,000 - 75,000 depending on relevant experience.

They work with many Blue Chip clients and have recently had large scale projects with Heathrow T5. My client is now setting up an external facing team that will specialise in exciting new build Data Centres.

Role:

The successful candidate will be in a very client facing role and will be heading up an M&E team that largely works on these Data Centre projects. The London based role will predominantly involve pre-contractual procurement and cost planning, however, it will also encompass post-contract work. There will be site visits from time to time when required.



The candidate will not be anchored indefinitely to the team or project area that they head up, and will have the option to switch between areas at appropriate times.



Requirements:

-At least 10 years M&E experience.

-Preferably RICS chartered or equivalent.

-Experience in management and delivering complex projects

-Experience in major construction sectors.

-Ideally a PQS/Consultancy background, but will still be considered if from a contractor background and have pre-contract knowledge.

-A perceptive individual who, through a natural diplomacy, can influence people in a changing environment.
