Our client, a large civil engineering company, is looking to recruit a Constructability Engineer to their Central London offices. You will be responsible for: - The development of the project's construction programme in line with the evolving design for the scheme, the Client?s procurement strategy, project interfaces, 3rd party constraints etc. - Carrying out constructability reviews of the project scheme designs and produce reports for submission to the client on constructability issues. - Developing construction methodology and programme logic for scheme designs. - Manage the activities of a junior planner. - Undertake constructability reviews of project scheme designs. - Participate in CDM risk reviews of the project scheme designs. Key experience: - Practical experience in construction of multi disciplinary projects, ideally in rail infrastructure. - Experience in scheduling of civil engineering and building (architectural and M & E) activities on infrastructure construction projects, ideally railway stations, tunnels, shafts & portals. - Knowledge of Primavera planning software. - BSc (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Building.
