Our client, a large rail organisation, is looking to recruit a Civil Asset Area Manager to their Central London offices. You will be managing and maintaining the Civil Engineering including Bridges and Structures Assets on the underground to ensure safe operation of the Railway and compliance with PPP contracts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Reviewing all Inspections and assessments reports on assets within your area. 2. Monitoring the condition of assets, preparing and updating effective maintenance strategies on defect types. 3.Proposing works items to be included in the annual maintenance budget. 4. Responsible for proposing changes to the ACA based on Inspections and Assessments. 5. Preparing comprehensive briefs, to agreed timetables for those items on the maintenance programme. Essential experience: 1. HND/HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering. 2. Proven experience in Civil / Structural Maintenance. 3. Railway related knowledge essential. 4. Has a good understanding of Asset Management and Contract / Project management. 5. Good knowledge of Health and Safety and environmental legislation in the Construction Industry (including CDM).
