Marine Coordinator
UK, Offshore and Onshore
(3 month contract initailly)
£280(onshore) £325(offshore) per day

We actively require the immediate appointment of two experienced Marine Coordinators to work for a leader in Marine Engineering Services exclusively to the Renewables Energy Sector. You will have extensive experience/service record on vessels used in Marine Renewables Operations. Such vessels may include DP (Dynamic Positioned) Vessels, Barges, Craneships and associated Heavy Lifting vessels and Anchor Handling Vessels.

You will have relevant Maritime qualifications and a strong Health, Safety and Environmental background. Experience in Offshore construction and Installation is desirable with successful candidates demonstrating a high level of motivation and confidence and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working on a number of high profile projects on offshore construction sites overseeing the management of all Maritime assets, Marine Engineering Operations and Personnel.

Reporting to the Marine Operations Manager you will be responsible for the development of Marine Construction Method Statements, Conducting Marine Suitability Surveys for Vessels, Barges and other Marine Construction Assets, Conducting Marine Warranty Surveys and writing and presenting Technical Reports arising from the execution of the projects. Onshore duties will include attendance at client and contractor meetings and at the company offices to carry out the services as reasonably required.

Shift rotation is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Rate of pay is expected to be around £280(onshore) and £325(offshore) per day but is negotiable depending on Qualifications and Experience.
