Senior Offshore Installation Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Offshore Installation Engineer to join a leading Renewables organisation specialising in Wave Energy Technology. Based at their Head Office in Edinburgh you will Manage the Contractors involved in the Engineering, Planning and Implementation of the Offshore Installation of Moorings, Power Cables, Buckling Systems etc associated with the deployment of the Wave Energy Devices.

You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) with experience in Offshore Supervision and Management of Marine Construction Operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for all Contractual Aspects for each Project both in the UK and Overseas. You will liaise with Contract Vessel Operators and associated Sub Contractors in order to effectively Plan and Resource all Offshore Operations. You will Manage all (QHS&E) Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of Offshore Operations in line with company/regulatory Policies and Procedures. You will also provide Support to the Marine Operations Superintendent in planning Offshore Maintenance work on installed infrastructure. As you will be key in the management and negotiation of contracts you should be conversant with International Guidance Codes and Standards in Offshore Operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Installation Engineer to join a successful and rapidly expanding Renewables Organisation that has received much recognition for its Technology. The role will attract a salary of £40K - £45K with a very Competitive Benefits Package. As the role will involve some travel around the UK and overseas you will require a UK driving license.
